depends on what they like and how much your willing to scramble your brain trying to make it something awesome. It CAN be a process that makes you lose your cool and throw shit at the walls when you get the art peice close but cant find what will push it in to that "awesome" catagory. When that happens Just step back from it. When that happens step back and have a friend (or another artist look) and see if they have an idea you might think is cool. With tattoos it's all about what the customer wants so you have to be flexable to change your personal style and that is what I find the hardest most of the time.
But I started drawing cause it's fun and you always have to remember that. Sometimes we forget that when were trying to push through our own artistic barriers.
